STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Clean Room Trainee to join the team. This position handles the daily operation of the clean room and supports manufacturing processes on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include cleaning final assemblies with alkaline cleaner, performing cleanliness testing, drying with nitrogen, inspecting with a microscope, and ensuring documentation accuracy. The role requires physical stamina and punctuality, with a $1.00 shift differential on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning of final assemblies using alkaline cleaner.
• Performs cleanliness testing using solvent.
• Dries final assemblies using nitrogen and vacuum oven.
• Performs microscope and other forms of inspection.
• Packages final assemblies to preserve cleanliness.
• Records and maintains documentation of test results and data into computer system.
• Verifies and maintains accuracy of routers and other applicable documents for completeness.
• Follows all required safety and OSHA rules and regulation including the use of PPE.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
