Job summary

Advance Services Inc. is hiring a Clean Room Technician in Morgan Hill, California. The position pays $18 to $18.50 per hour, with a first shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

The role covers contamination control, equipment operation, cleaning and maintenance of cleanroom gear, and documentation of quality records in accordance with SOPs and cGMP guidelines. Prior experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing is preferred, with strict adherence to 5S and cleanliness

Qualifications

• Experience with inspection of parts and products in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with packaging, bagging, tagging, and labeling products for shipment or further processing.
• Familiarity with semiconductor or similar high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Ability to perform basic computer data entry for production and quality records.
• Experience working under 5S standards and general production best practices.
• General labor and general production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to maintain clean and organized workspaces and follow strict cleanroom requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contamination Control: Follow strict gowning protocols (such as wearing "bunny suits," hairnets, gloves, and face masks) and personal hygiene rules (no makeup, jewelry, or perfumes).
• Equipment Operation & Assembly: Operate, load, and monitor production machinery, scales, sealers, or wafer-handling tools.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Carry out regular sanitization, floor mopping, surface disinfection, and basic preventative maintenance on cleanroom gear and HEPA filter environments.
• Quality Inspection & Documentation: Perform in-process visual or microscopic checks, track particle counts, and log production records accurately per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP (current Good Manufacturers Practice) guidelines.
