Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Clean Room Operator Trainee for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM) with a $1.00 shift differential. The role focuses on the daily operation of the clean room, supporting final assembly cleaning, testing, drying, inspection, and packaging while maintaining safety and documentation.

You will perform cleaning with alkaline cleaner, cleanliness testing, nitrogen drying, microscopy inspection, data entry, and ensure accuracy of documents.

Qualifications

• Performs cleaning of final assemblies using alkaline cleaner.
• Performs cleanliness testing using solvent.
• Dries final assemblies using nitrogen and vacuum oven.
• Performs microscope and other forms of inspection.
• Packages final assemblies to preserve cleanliness.
• Records and maintains documentation of test results and data into computer system.
• Verifies and maintains accuracy of routers and other applicable documents for completeness.
• Follows all required safety and OSHA rules and regulation including the use of PPE.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
