Job summary

Ceva Animal Health in Lenexa, KS seeks a Laboratory Technician to support Marek’s disease vaccine production. You will perform aseptic tissue and viral culture inside a clean room and handle roller bottle vessels under GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, documenting results, preparing growth media, and coordinating with Marek’s Laboratory staff. Weekend shifts may be required, with early mornings to late evenings.

Qualifications

• Education - High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in life-science field is a plus.
• Laboratory manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic tissue and viral culture procedures.
• Follow SOPs, Quality Assurance SOPs, and GMP CFR Title 9 requirements.
• Document procedures legibly and concurrently.
• Assist in media preparation and routine lab tasks.
• Weekend and shift coverage may be required.
