Job summary

Magellan Aerospace Corporation in Glendale, AZ is seeking a skilled Clean Room Inspector to perform ultrasonic cleaning, borescope inspection, and related QA checks on complex castings for aerospace applications.

The role requires ensuring parts meet customer specifications, maintaining borescope logs, and documenting non-conformances in accordance with QMS procedures, while collaborating with source inspectors, welders, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning and borescope equipment preferred.
• 3+ years of final inspection experience preferred.
• Must pass visual requirements tests and applicable exams.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and manufacturing plans.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of inspection methods and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect casting per borescope procedure to satisfy customer requirements.
• Collaborate with inspectors, welders, x-ray personnel, quality specialists and engineers.
• Remove obstructions or defects inside passages using appropriate tools.
• Document all parts inspected in borescope log and report non-conformances.
• Notify personnel when a defect is found for corrective action.
• Maintain a clean, FOD-free workspace and follow safety regulations.
• Support continuous improvement activities to enhance Magellan quality and delivery.
