Job summary

Volt is hiring for an Assembly Technician on the 1st/2nd shifts in California. You will assemble tubing and components, follow clean room and CGMP procedures, and maintain precise measurements and quality records. Reading blueprints and adhering to safety standards are essential.

The role requires prior manufacturing experience, strong dexterity, and teamwork, with competitive hourly pay and benefits based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
• Experience working with small parts and hand tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble tubing, components, and specialized products per specifications and work instructions.
• Follow Clean Room and CGMP procedures to maintain a sterile production environment.
• Measure, cut, align, and position components with high accuracy.
• Use hand tools and assembly equipment like cable guns and bag sealers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
• Complete assemblies in the correct sequence while maintaining quality.
• Inspect components and finished products for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain production records and quality logs.
• Clean workstations and equipment using approved cleaning solutions.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules and quality goals.
• Follow safety policies, SOPs, and quality procedures.
