    Your future position

    We’re seeking an experienced clean products analyst to help guide us in our quest. As a member of our Market Data Operations team, you will focus on analysing our maritime products, processes, workflows, and systems with the objective of developing solutions for either improvement or automation. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working with market & technology to gain an in-depth understanding of our strategy and services. From day one, you will have an impact on the data quality of our product offerings, and a lasting influence on the commodities industry.


    Your mission is to:
    • Understand and structure commodities data (e.g port, broker reports, vessels lineups…), analyze results & quality ingestion and matching analytics, research methodologies, and statistical technique.
    • Ensure the highest standard of data quality, by reviewing internal constraints and ingest data from external sources.
    • Work daily with the analysts and engineers to solve problems, make improvements to efficiently and effectively process data and improve data accuracy of our seaborne flows.
    • Develop a deep understanding of Kpler platforms, models and customer needs.
    • Manage and prioritise the requirements backlog to continue to grow and develop the business needs of the department.
    • Provide market-informed feedback and strategic guidance to engineers, driving the development of innovative product features and enhancements
    • Draft fast-response analysis to ad-hoc requests from clients (emails, chats, video calls and in person meetings) and support the sales teams.
    It will be a match if you are or have:
    • Graduated from an Engineering school, business school or possess an equivalent Masters and looking for a fast-pacing and enriching working environment
    • Strong interest in the shipping market and/or good knowledge relative to the commodities market (relevant experience in the industry would be beneficial).
    • Excellent analytical ability, at ease with working with databases, ability to highlight trends and use complex data to support decisions and drive solutions; (python/SQL would be ideal).
    • Strong capabilities in logical thinking with attention to detail
    • Experience working with some of the following tools: JIRA, Postman, Tableau, Streamlite, Github, Rundeck, Dataiku.
    • Can translate business requirements into effective product design, delivering end-to-end user experience solutions.
    • A true team player, quick learner, and able to work with short deadlines across different tasks.
