Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Transportation Clean-Out teammate in Concord, NC. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing company tractors and trailers upon return from routes, with an evening schedule from 2pm to 10pm, Sunday through Thursday.

You will use power washers, pallet jacks, and related equipment to maintain fleet cleanliness and safety. The position offers a strong benefits package beginning after 60 days, including medical/dental/vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and legal right to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to climb, reach, bend, crawl, squat and stoop
• Ability to be trained/certified on a pallet jack
• Ability to read, write and understand English sufficiently for safety and instructions

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize tractors and trailers with a power washer
• Operate electric and manual pallet jacks
• Remove totes, boxes, pallets, shrink wrap from trailers
• Unload inbound deliveries as directed
• Operate cardboard baler
• Clean outside bay door
• Load/unload/deliver products as needed
• Assist with special projects as assigned

The Transportation Clean-Out teammate is responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of company tractors and trailers upon return from route.

What you'll do as a Clean-Out:

• Wash and sanitize tractor and trailers with power washer.
• Operate electric and manual pallet jacks.
• Remove totes, boxes, pallets, shrink wrap from trailer, including overages and damages on route returns.
• Unload inbound deliveries as directed.
• Operate cardboard bailer.
• Clean outside bay door.
• Ability and willingness to select/load/unload and/or deliver ALL products that may be ordered by our customers.
• This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Be able to climb, reach, bend, crawl, squat and stoop to accomplish essential job functions.
• Have the ability to be trained and or certified on a pallet jack.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
