AOE International is a non-profit focused on community support, workforce development, and education. The instructor will teach CEJA Core Competencies to a new cohort each month, delivering 100 hours of essential employability and 10 hours of career exploration with employers.

Responsibilities include OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR/AED, digital skills, and hands-on lab work; plus assessments, panels, site visits, and mock interviews to prepare participants for pathway training.

Formación

• Three or more years of experience teaching adults in workforce readiness or occupational training.
• Working knowledge of construction or clean energy workplaces and safety practices.
• Strong facilitation skills and ability to support learners facing barriers to employment.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and digital collaboration tools.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Core Competencies modules through hands-on activities in clean energy workplaces.
• Teach OSHA 10-Hour Construction and First Aid/CPR/AED; complete credential records.
• Teach digital skills in the computer lab, and basic tool use and foundational electricity.
• Assess participants using varied methods; record attendance and results.
• Identify struggling participants, re-teach, re-assess and notify the case manager.
• Host employer panels, job site visits and mock interviews with staff.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom building on participants' knowledge.
• Help participants confirm a Career Pathway and pass the plan to the case manager.
