Job summary

AmHyTech is hiring a Fall 2025 Graduate Internship in Detroit for Chemical/Mechanical Engineering. You will work 12 weeks in a fast-paced startup focused on ammonia-to-hydrogen conversion technologies and energy storage challenges.

You will engage in design, analysis, prototyping, and interdisciplinary research under senior leadership. The role emphasizes hands-on experience with next-generation systems, collaboration with R&D teams, and documentation of findings to drive improvements in storage

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a graduate student in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong academic record with passion for clean energy technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and optimization of ammonia storage systems.
• Conduct mechanical, thermal, and chemical analyses to evaluate performance.
• Prototype development and iteration based on testing results.
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to align designs with system objectives.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations documenting findings.
