Job summary

Filta Environmental Kitchen Solutions is seeking a dependable Driver & Service Associate for night-shift work in the San Antonio, TX area. You will tow an 18-foot trailer, transport cleaning supplies and crew members, and perform on-site kitchen sanitation tasks.

The role is a contract (1099) position with a path to transition into a permanent W-2 role based on performance. Evening/overnight hours run roughly 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Experience driving trucks with mid-to-large trailers (18-foot trailer preferred).
• Active Driver's License with clean MVR.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment (75–100 lbs).

Responsibilities

We are expanding our FiltaClean operations in the San Antonio area and are looking for a reliable, hands-on Driver & Service Associate to haul specialized equipment, transport team members, and actively perform commercial kitchen deep-cleaning services on night shifts.
The Role

As a FiltaClean Driver & Service Associate, you will play a dual operational and service role. You will be responsible for driving a company vehicle towing an 18-foot trailer to transport cleaning supplies, specialized pressure washing machinery, and service team members directly to client sites across San Antonio. Once on site, you will work alongside the crew to execute deep-cleaning and detailed sanitation services for commercial kitchens and food service facilities.

• Fleet & Trailer Operation: Safely drive and maneuver a truck towing an 18-foot utility/cargo trailer through urban, commercial, and highway routes.
  
• On-Site Kitchen Sanitation: Perform hands-on commercial kitchen deep cleaning, hood/exhaust maintenance, equipment degreasing, and specialized pressure washing at client sites.
  
• Supply & Equipment Logistics: Load, secure, transport, and unload commercial deep-cleaning supplies, heavy machinery, and specialized sanitation tools.
  
• Team Transit: Assist with transporting crew members to and from scheduled job locations safely and on time.
  
• Site Preparation & Safety: Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly strapped down and secured before transit; adhere to all state traffic laws and workplace safety standards.
  
• Vehicle Upkeep: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle, trailer, and cleaning equipment inspections, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
  

What We Are Looking For

• Driving & Towing Experience: Proven experience operating trucks while safely towing mid-to-large utility trailers (18-foot trailer experience strongly preferred).
  
• Hands-On Cleaning Capability: Willingness and physical ability to perform detailed, hands-on commercial kitchen deep-cleaning and sanitation tasks.
  
• Night Owl Schedule: Ability to work evening/overnight shift windows (typically 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM).
  
• Valid Driver's License: Active Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift, load, and maneuver heavy equipment weighing up to 75–100 lbs.
  
• Reliability & Punctuality: Exceptional attendance record; our crew and clients count on you to keep shifts running on schedule.
  

Schedule & Employment Details

• Hours: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Varies slightly based on client routes and site access).
  
• Classification: Starts as an independent contractor position (1099) with a direct pathway to transition into a full W-2 role based on performance and reliability.
  
• Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
