Valor Protection Safety Agency is recruiting School Safety Officers to support Clayton County Public Schools for the 2026-2027 school year. The role emphasizes prevention, visibility, and positive interaction with students and staff.

Officers will maintain campus presence, monitor access points, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents with a calm, professional demeanor while upholding district policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Background screening as per school district standards.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Must possess Georgia 24-Hour Unarmed Security Officer Certification prior to start.
• Must meet clearance requirements for placement within Clayton County Public Schools.

We are seeking professional, dependable, and community-focused School Safety Officers to support a safe and structured learning environment withinClayton County Public Schools for the 2026-2027 School Year. This role is centered around prevention, visibility, and positive interaction with students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible presence on campus to deter and prevent safety concerns
• Monitor entrances, exits, and campus activity throughout assigned shifts
• Conduct routine patrols of school grounds and facilities
• Assist with arrival, dismissal, and high-traffic periods to ensure order and safety
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
• Enforce school policies and safety procedures in a professional manner
• Provide support to school administrators and staff as needed
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports

Qualifications:

• Previous security, law enforcement, or school safety experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with students of all ages
• Professional, calm, and authoritative presence
• Ability to remain alert and proactive in a dynamic school environment
• Strong judgment and conflict resolution skills

• Must pass a comprehensive background screening in accordance with school district standards

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

• Must possess a validGeorgia 24-Hour Unarmed Security Officer Certificationprior to start date

• Must be able to meet all clearance requirements required for placement withinClayton County Public Schools
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
