Job summary

GEO Next Generation High School seeks a Classroom Tutor to motivate and support students, uphold high behavioral expectations, and provide targeted tutoring. You will communicate progress to students and families while collaborating with teachers and administrators to support academic success.

This part-time role requires at least two years of college or 60 credits, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and a commitment to GEO Academies' mission. On-site work hours run 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• Two years of college or 60 college credit hours completed.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 across coursework.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support students in achieving academic success.
• Maintain high behavioral expectations for all students.
• Provide targeted individual and small-group tutoring.
• Communicate progress with students and families.
• Collaborate with teachers and school administrators.
• Participate in required staff-development opportunities.
• Ensure proper use and security of computer equipment and accessories.
• Comply with all school policies and procedures.
