GEO Prep Baker, Inc. is seeking a Classroom Assistant to support the Lead Classroom Teacher in our K-8 blended learning environment. This full-time 10-month position emphasizes collaboration, data-informed instruction, and a positive student culture.

The role includes tutoring, enforcing classroom rules, communicating with families and staff, and stepping in as needed to ensure students reach academic milestones.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Desire to grow professionally and commit to GEO Academies' mission.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Lead Classroom Teacher.
• Support established classroom rules and protocols.
• Fill in as Teacher when Lead Teacher is absent.
• Motivate students and support high levels of academic success.
• Create a positive culture around online learning and small-group tutoring.
• Maintain frequent communication with students and families.
• Interpret data to support student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and staff development.
