Qualifications

• Sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution.
• An associate degree (or higher).
• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• Ready to Work Credentials.
• WIN - Level 3 certification.
• ParaPro - passing score of 456.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable.
• Responsible To: Principal.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom teaching assistance.
• Provide supervision of students at all times.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Provide students with daily care (e.g. toileting, diapering, feeding, etc.) as needed or required.
• Adhere to district dress code policies.
• Maintain confidentiality in regard to students and school records.
• Positively supports student growth and development.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
