Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or 60 college credits or paraprofessional test; two years' experience with students.
• Knowledge of childhood development, teaching methods, policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and implementation of lesson plans modeled by a certified teacher.
• Assist in planning and preparing instructional materials and lessons; support group and individual activities.
• Assist teacher with maintaining student behavior.
• Assist with all online testing preparation and completion as needed.
• Assist with preparing the physical learning environment to meet student needs.
• Assist in maintaining student records and attendance requirements.
• Assist in maintaining supply inventory.
• Complete other duties as assigned or required.
