Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily and long-range lesson and classroom activity planning.
• Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Conducts learning exercises with small groups of students.
• Operates and cares for equipment or instructional materials.
• Alerts the teacher to special needs of individual students.
• Guides independent study, enrichment, and remedial work as assigned.
• Provides escort and assistance to children as necessary.
• Distributes and collects workbooks and materials.
• Assist teacher in maintaining neat work and study areas.
• Supervise students during play, field trips, assemblies or drills.
• Other related classroom duties as assigned.
