Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate’s degree in education or related field preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience in education/childcare.
• Certification in child first aid and CPR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for lessons and bulletin boards.
• Operate school equipment (computers, printers, copiers).
• Ensure students have materials for class activities.
• Assist students individually or in small groups.
• Maintain records of students’ progress on instructional or behavioral goals.
• Supervise bus loading and pickup/drop-off.
• Grade assignments and record results in the school computer system.
• Support students with assistive devices and supportive technologies.
• Adhere to accommodations in students’ IEPs and 504 plans.
• Enforce school rules and participate in parent-teacher conferences.
