Job summary

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalency and a Level III Educational Assistant license from the New Mexico PED, with a 194-day contract and 7.5-hour days on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher with delivering objectives according to guidelines.
• Help with lesson plans, grading, and attendance/records.
• Maintain files and ensure confidentiality of records.
• Assist students individually or in groups with tasks and concepts.
• Operate audio-visual equipment and classroom office machines.
• Support classroom rules and a safe, orderly environment.
• Coordinate class field trips and supervise student activities.
