Job summary

The Washoe County School District is seeking a Highly Qualified Paraeducator Aide II to support teaching staff and supervise students on campus and during field trips. You will perform clerical tasks, assist with instructional activities, and help maintain records and classroom materials.

Requirements include a high school diploma or recognized equivalent and completion of at least 48 college hours, an associate degree, or a passing ParaPro score of 460.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is desirable.
• Completed 48 semester hours or an associate degree or higher from an accredited college/university; or passed the ParaPro Assessment with a score of 460.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff in classroom and school activities; prepare materials and equipment; maintain records and supervise students.
• Supervise students during tests, meals, and field trips; enforce school rules and ensure safety.
