Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervises students during arrivals and departures from school.
• Assists students in academic tasks as outlined by the classroom teacher.
• Assists students during inside or outside recess and lunchtime.
• Assists with behavior issues and student transitions to and from the restroom.
• Contacts parents via phone calls, emails and home visits as directed by the teacher.
• Sanitizes/cleans classroom and equipment; supports bulletin boards and clerical tasks.
• Attends meetings and supports administrator as needed.
