Job summary

Requirements include an associate degree or two years of college, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to lift 25–40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, two years of college coursework, or the Paraprofessional’s Exam completed.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI check.
• Ability to meet educational standards and handle confidential information.
• High quality written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups.
• Helps plan classroom activities and supports the Teacher in student/parent relations.
• Assists with school activities (events, meetings, assemblies, etc.).
• Performs clerical duties (grading papers, copying).
• Assists the Teacher in the use of classroom technology.
• Maintains cleanliness of classroom and lunchroom.
• Understands and upholds the school’s philosophy and mission.
• Other duties as assigned (field trips, duty times).
