Job Description

As a Classroom Security Paraprofessional with The Menta Education Group, you will work with classroom instructors and staff to provide targeted teaching and support to students, as well as general support for all students in the school.

Therapeutic Day School Opening in August 2025

Schedule: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday

School Calendar: 10 Months

Hiring for All Grade Levels K-21, in Small Self-Contained Rooms (max 10 students)

Direct Hire with our school: Return Year after Year (no annual contract)

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom behaviors
• Report behavioral concerns to staff
• Implement and maintain behavioral programs and data
• Maintain classroom order and safety
• Supervise students inside the school
• Assist in preventing and managing incidents of non-compliance or escalation
• Respond to emergencies
• Provide behavioral interventions
• Think quickly, independently, and tactfully

Qualifications

• Background in Security or Juvenile Justice is helpful
