Applicants must meet licensure requirements or be eligible for Ohio Paraprofessional certification, with preference for an Associate degree and prior school experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Ohio Paraprofessional License or eligibility for certification via the Ohio Department of Education.
• For Title I funded: Associate's degree or higher, or 48 semester hours, or paraprofessional assessment.
• CPR/First Aid, Crisis Prevention training as required.
• Prior experience working with students or in school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional, clerical, and supervisory support in the classroom under direction of certified teachers and building administrators.
• Assist in classroom operations, student engagement, and materials preparation.
• Support non-instructional supervision to promote a well-managed, inclusive learning environment.
• Ensure equitable access to instructional content and assist with school events and activities.
• Uphold district safety, confidentiality, and collaboration standards.
