Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• If working in a Title 1 school, 48 hours of college credit or pass the ParaPro exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of instruction materials.
• Assist in instruction of students and classroom activities.
• May tutor students individually or in small groups.
• Assist in administration of tests and monitor academic progress.
• Maintain accurate data on assigned students or groups.
• Support a positive self-concept and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents and administration.
• Work collaboratively in a team.
• Must be able to work assigned hours.
