Job summary

The Claremont Colleges Services is looking for part-time Learning Experience Observers to support teaching and learning through observation and feedback. This role requires attendance in classes and participation in weekly feedback sessions with faculty members.

Candidates must be enrolled as students at The Claremont Colleges. This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for sophomores and above. The position offers compensation of $17.00 per hour, for 4 to 8 hours a week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a sophomore enrolled in a degree program.
• No experience required as this is an entry-level position.
• Knowledge of equity, diversity, and justice in higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend observed classes and weekly meetings with faculty.
• Take detailed notes during observations.
• Provide feedback on learning environments and syllabus.
