ACCEL Schools is seeking an Instructional Aide at Clarksburg Classical Academy in Clarksburg, West Virginia. The Instructional Aide assists the Teacher with classroom activities, promotes positive student behaviors, and helps ensure student safety and a positive school climate.

Duties include supporting lessons, planning activities, assisting with school events, clerical tasks, classroom technology, and maintaining clean spaces.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework, or passing the Paraprofessional’s Exam.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI check.
• Ability to meet educational standards and work under pressure.
• Confidential information handling and strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 25–40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups.
• Helps plan classroom activities and supports parent relations.
• Assists with school activities and events.
• Performs clerical duties like grading and copying.
• Assists with classroom technology use.
• Maintains classroom and lunchroom cleanliness.
• Contributes to a positive climate and culture.
