Job summary

Knoxville Montessori seeks a dependable Classroom Assistant to support students and guides in a Montessori classroom. The placement will align with the candidate’s experience and the needs of the school to maintain an engaging, respectful learning space.

You will supervise students, assist with routines and transitions, and help prepare and care for classroom materials while promoting independence. Immediate start; schedule 7:25am–4:10pm with a 45‑minute lunch.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience working with children.
• Montessori experience is preferred but not required.

Knoxville Montessori School is seeking a dependable, collaborative Classroom Assistant to support students and guides in a Montessori classroom. Classroom placement will be determined according to the selected candidate’s experience, strengths, and the needs of the school.

The Classroom Assistant helps maintain a safe, organized, and respectful learning environment while supporting student independence and the daily work of the classroom.

Responsibilities include:
