Classroom Aide - Part Time - Medical or Dental Assistants

Position Details

Part Time - Classroom Aide - Medical or Dental Assistants - Mornings & Evenings Available

The Classroom Aide provides support to Primary or Secondary Instructors in the classroom, assisting with tutoring students in individual and group sessions, proctoring exams, and supporting classroom activities under supervision. They do not deliver primary instruction but support student tutoring and remediation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Aiding with computers and classroom technology
  • Setting up labs and preparing classrooms as directed
  • Assisting with hands-on activities
  • Other non-teaching duties as assigned
Outside Classroom Responsibilities
  • Providing scheduled tutoring
  • Restocking and cleaning
  • Supporting orientation tasks
  • Proctoring exams following guidelines
Conduct and Standards
  • Maintain a positive attitude and confidentiality
  • Follow academic integrity policies
  • Report issues to Campus Leadership
Requirements
  • Graduation from Ross Medical Education Center in Medical/Dental/Veterinary Assistance or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience if graduated outside Ross
  • Certification in relevant health fields is a plus
  • Ability to move around the building and classroom
  • Sufficient visual and auditory abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of curriculum and technology tools
  • Professionalism and objectivity
