Job summary

The Summit Center in Amherst, NY is seeking a Classroom Aide to support the lead teacher, assist with instruction, and help students develop skills in a supportive environment.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 35 hours per week, with pay at $20.34 per hour, and benefits including paid time off, holiday pay, on-site daycare at some locations, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will work closely with educators to implement IEPs and ensure confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of childcare experience.
• Ability to work with students and staff in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teacher and educational team with instruction and classroom tasks.
• Assist with instructional activities and student support.
• Help implement IEP mandates and behavior plans.
