Qualifications

• Minimum: Missouri substitute teaching certificate; 36+ college credit hours, or Associates degree, or 20-hour DESE sub course.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a school setting and/or working with young people.
• Ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, and able to work with diverse individuals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare student material and reinforce previously taught material as described by the teacher.
• Manage student behavior and classroom organization.
• Implement classroom and school policies, rules, and/or regulations.
• Assist administrators in supervising students in non-classroom settings such as lunchroom/playground supervision and bus arrival/dismissal.
