Qualifications

• Valid substitute certificate on DESE (or in the process, active before your start date)
• Experience in school settings, particularly with students with behavioral needs, BIPs, and SPED classrooms
• Comfortable providing support that may include toileting
• Must complete fingerprinting for district onboarding (NKC)
• Ability to be flexible for 1:1 and classroom paraprofessional duties

Responsibilities

• Provide critical support to students during substitute or call-out needs—1-5 days per week
• Follow behavior intervention plans and collaborate within classrooms serving students with varying needs
• Take on both 1:1 and classroom aide duties as assigned
• Use the spindle app to accept shifts, view schedules, and access site assignments—paid only for worked shifts
