Job summary

Garfield County School District No.16 in California is seeking a CLASSIFIED SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN to maintain safe, clean, and welcoming school facilities district-wide. You will perform general cleaning, operate custodial equipment, assist with snow removal when needed, and support staff to keep classrooms and common areas in good repair.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift up to 100 lbs, work from ladders or scaffolding, and communicate effectively

Job Description

Objective: To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop.

Position Summary: Responsible for general cleanliness and sanitary conditions of schools and other facilities. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
