Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems seeks a Mid-Career Classified Systems Administrator to grow in a secure, defense-focused environment. You will administer classified Windows/Linux clients and servers, manage VMware vCenter, and support TeamCenter/TeamworkCloud within a DoD-aligned security posture.

You will collaborate with ISSM/ISSO on NISPOM documentation, lead asset management, and participate in Cyber Operational Readiness and vulnerability assessments.

Qualifications

• Requires a U.S. Government SECRET (or higher) clearance and US citizenship.
• 7–10 years of system administration experience in military, federal, or industrial security.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/cybersecurity or related field preferred.
• Must have one of the listed certifications (Security+ CE, GSEC, CySA+, CASP+).

Responsibilities

• Administer classified Windows and Linux clients and servers with focus on reliability, security, and performance.
• Manage VMware vCenter environments, including provisioning, monitoring, maintenance and patching.
• Maintain and support TeamCenter, TeamworkCloud, and related modules for engineering.
• Refine and implement classified system policies and procedures.
• Lead property management activities and asset refresh coordination.
• Respond to and resolve trouble tickets in a timely manner.
• Assist ISSM with interpretation/implementation of NISPOM on classified systems and networks.
• Collaborate with ISSM/ISSO to create and modify security documentation and accreditation artifacts.
• Ensure systems operate and dispose per DoD/NISPOM and SSPs; participate in inspections and assessments.
• Serve as Lab Custodian and review visitor clearances and need-to-know requirements.
• Perform other duties with initiative and minimal supervision.
