Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Classified Technical and Cloud Computing Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and maintain Azure-based virtual enclaves in a classified environment at our El Segundo, CA location. Expect working in DoD/IC-aligned, high-security settings with extensive IA practices.

Qualified candidates will have TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, DoD 8570 Security+ or equivalent, a STEM degree, and 5–8 years of Azure cloud experience, plus hands-on enclave deployment expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; DoD/IC security experience preferred.
• 5–8 years of Azure cloud engineering, administration, or architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining Azure enclaves in a classified environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure virtual enclaves in a classified environment.
• Enforce DoD/IC/NIST compliance, RMF, and STIGs across cloud workloads.
• Manage networks, firewalls, NSGs, routing, private endpoints, and cross-domain integrations.
• Implement IaC using Terraform/Ansible and Azure Automation for provisioning.
• Monitor performance, security posture, and compliance; perform root-cause analysis.
• Apply Entra ID RBAC/ABAC and Conditional Access to control access.
• Support enclave patching, logging, vulnerability mitigation, and baselines.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on risk assessments and ATO sustainment.
• Maintain architecture and deployment documentation; provide enclave operation support.
