Job summary

Classic & Custom Restorations in Dallas, GA, specializes in Ford Mustangs, trucks, and Broncos from the 1960s–1980s. We seek an experienced Automotive Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain classic cars and trucks.

You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop, performing maintenance, engine and transmission work, and electrical system repairs. Must have your own tools and be able to work Monday through Friday, 7am–4pm, with potential weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 3 years of mechanical experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to commute to Dallas, GA 30132.
• Some weekend hours may be required.
• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, preferably with classic vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems across multiple vehicle generations.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a passion for quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative shop team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, steering and engine/transmission upgrades.
• Diagnose issues in classic cars without modern computer systems.
• Repair components such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Inspect vehicles to identify potential problems early.
• Operate power tools and keep workspace clean and safe.
• Assist with heavy equipment operation as needed.
