Job summary

Lorain City Schools is seeking a Class II Custodian for Lorain High School on the 2nd shift. The role ensures a clean, safe school environment and carries responsibilities aligned with maintenance and custodial duties.

The schedule is 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day across 260 school-year days. Starting pay is $20.05 per hour with step increases after 1 and 2 years, and union representation through S.M.A.R.T. Union.

Base Rate-of-Pay Effective 7/1/26: Step I = $20.05 per hour (Step II after 1 year = $21.42 per hour; Step III after 2 years = $23.61 per hour)
