• Basic mathematical skills to make change and give refunds.

• Must have a valid Class-C driver’s license for the position.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers with respect and courtesy.
• Keeps up to date with the product inventory and its functionality.
• Ask questions and provide relevant information to customers and list down orders to provide excellent customer service.
• Inspect vehicle to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order and complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting goods and ensure cargo is secure.
• Secure cargo for transport using ropes, blocks, chains, binders, or covers.
• Read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and coordinate with loading crew.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicle.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Check load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Collect delivery instructions and verify routes.
• Operate truck cab computer, GPS, driver cameras, and other devices to exchange information.
