Job Description

This position involves driving 24’, 26’ and a 28’ bobtails to make pick up and deliveries at our customers locations. Oak Harbor Freight Lines offers and internal, get paid while training program for those interested in becoming a Class A Driver. The drivers work Monday – Friday with weekends off.

  • Medical, dental, vision – you choose which plan suits you and your family needs.
    • Single person pays up to 2% of gross income.
    • Entire family pays up to 4% of gross income.
  • 401K – 100% match up to 5% of employees contribution.
  • Accrue 80 hours of PTO within the first 11 months.
  • Holiday pay after your 90 days.
  • Cell phone stipend

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Valid DOT Medical Certification
  • Must have a clean driving record. No DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in the past 3 years
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate bobtail trucks of different sizes
  • Adapting to challenging conditions like inclement weather and various road conditions
  • Ability to meet the company’s reliability standards for employees
  • Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather as required
  • Availability to work weekends and / or nights if needed
