Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Stow, OH is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Driver to support local healthcare routes. You will collect medical waste and sharps containers, drive up to 26' box trucks, and deliver safe, friendly service to hospitals and clinics along your route.

This full-time, day-shift role offers 4 × 10-hour days (5 AM–3 PM), potential overtime, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and benefits from day one. CDL endorsement boosts pay to $27–28 per hour; otherwise the base rate is $24 per hour.

Qualifications

We're looking for a dependable, safety-minded Non-CDL Driver with experience driving 26ft box trucks to support our healthcare routes in the Stow, OH area. This role is perfect for a driver who values consistent daytime hours, local routes, and meaningful work that supports hospitals and healthcare professionals every day.

You'll be responsible for collecting and transporting medical waste and sharps containers while delivering top-tier customer service at healthcare facilities along your route.

**This position is offering a $3k sign-on bonus for new hires. $1k paid after 30 days of employment and $2k paid after 90 days of employment!**

Driving & Route Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers
• Operate company vehicles up to 26' box trucks
• Manage assigned local routes and deliver timely, reliable service
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance including logs and roadside inspections

Physical & Customer‑Facing Work

• Load and unload containers throughout the day (heavy lifting required)
• Organize and prioritize your truck based on route needs
• Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service

Valid drivers license or valid drivers license with a clean driving record and DOT medical card

Professional experience operating26' box trucks

Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections

Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks

Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers

• Consistent work hours – Weekday position, 4 10-hour days, 1st Shift (5AM to ~3PM)
• Benefits – Full time roles are provided benefits, sick leave and vacation leave from day one!!
• Permanent position – This is a Full-time permanent role of 40 hours per week
• Competitive salary – This position is offering a SET (non-negotiable) rate of $24 per hour!
• Note to CDL drivers, CDL holders receive $27 per hour or $28 with valid hazmat endorsement
• SIGN ON BONUS! - This position includes a $3k sign on bonus paid in 2 installments ($1k after 30 days, $2k after 90 days of employment)
