Job summary

K&S Tire Recycling, Inc. in Chicago Heights, IL is seeking dependable Class C Drivers for local tire collection routes. You will manually load tires and safely operate assigned vehicles while ensuring timely service at customer locations.

Responsibilities include completing routes, loading and unloading tires, vehicle inspections, documenting service, and maintaining a clean truck. This role requires physical effort and interaction with dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

Class C Driver – Tire Collection

K&S Tire Recycling in Chicago Heights, IL is hiring dependable Class C Drivers for local tire collection routes. Drivers must safely operate assigned vehicles AND physically collect and load tires at customer locations.

Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned local collection routes
• Manually load and unload tires
• Roll, lift, carry and stack tires onto trucks
• Organize loads efficiently and safely
• Verify tire quantities at each customer
• Perform vehicle inspections
• Complete service documentation
• Obtain signatures and take required photos
• Communicate with dispatch
• Provide professional customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized truck

This is not a driving-only job. Manual tire loading is required.

• Previous experience driving 26-foot box trucks or 16-foot box trucks/vans

• Valid license appropriate for assigned vehicle
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to repeatedly lift and handle tires up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical loading throughout the shift
• Ability to enter/exit the truck repeatedly
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to use a smartphone for route documentation

• 26 foot box truck drivers $1000-1200 per week
• 16 foot box truck drivers $480-920 per week
