Job description

Trillium Drivers is looking for CDL Route Drivers in the Schertz, TX area!

Schedule is Monday-Friday, with start times at either 4am or 6am, working until the route is finished. Qualified drivers will be able and willing to load and deliver products to various establishments on a given route, interface with customers, and collect non-cash payments. In some cases, drivers may be required to unload at the destination and store delivered merchandise into the customer’s inventory. Pay rate starts at $18.75/hour.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Deliver invoiced products by bottle, case, pallet, or hand-stack from the delivery truck and place the merchandise into customer inventory.
2. Verify receipt of the correct order with the customer by checking product type and size against the invoice, and obtain customer signature if necessary.
3. Deliver to approximately 19 accounts daily, with up to 30 accounts during times of increased activity.
4. Cover approximately 160 miles daily, with occasional increases to 200-300 miles during busy periods or out-of-town routes.
5. Possibility of dedicated overnight routes.
6. Work with one or more helpers in some cases.

Requirements & Physical Demands:

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of delivery experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Valid DOT medical certification card and proper filing with the state Motor Vehicle Department.
