Job description

Job Title: Route Sales Driver

The successful candidate will be dependable, flexible, self-motivated, professional, and have a sense of pride in their work.

Responsibilities:

1. Relieve/cover established routes as needed.
2. Drive over established routes or territory to sell and deliver dairy products.
3. Maintain existing accounts and work to build strong customer relationships.
4. Distribute all authorized products to all accounts.
5. Maintain company property such as trucks, computers, cell phones, and money.
6. Adhere to company policies and all D.O.T. guidelines.
7. Ensure dependability, responsibility, and punctuality; willing to work long and flexible hours.
8. Possess and maintain a CDL Class B with Airbrake, pass a DOT physical, including a drug test.
9. Have basic skills in math, reading, and writing, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
10. Manage the dairy case at stops, ensuring proper stock rotation and product appearance.
11. Engage in customer contact and develop sales skills.
12. Be able to drive, stand, walk, kneel, lift, and bend throughout the shift.
13. Balance pulling product, climbing in and out of the truck.
14. Lift and/or move up to six cases on a hand truck (cases weigh 20 to 55 lbs.).
15. Work in indoor and outdoor environments, in cold and hot temperatures.

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor will be required.
