Responsibilities

About the Role

The Class B Operator and Trash Truck Driver plays a critical role in maintaining community cleanliness and environmental health by safely operating Class B vehicles to collect and transport waste materials. This position requires the individual to navigate various routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely and secure waste disposal. The role demands a strong commitment to customer service, as drivers often interact with residents and businesses during collection. Additionally, the operator is responsible for performing routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to guarantee operational reliability. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements as required by state regulations
• Proven experience operating Class B vehicles, preferably in waste management or a related field.
• Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and enroll in random drug screening/pre-employment testing.
