Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to support ground crew, operate safely on energized lines, and install distribution equipment across Midland/Odessa/Lubbock, TX. The role requires pole climbing, outdoor work in varied weather, and strong communication skills.

Applicants should have 2–3 years of lineman experience, a valid Class A CDL, OSHA 10hr certification, and be able to pass background checks and a drug screen. Local travel and overtime including storms may occur.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of lineman experience or equivalent hours.
• Must possess valid State Driver License; CDL required.
• OSHA 10hr Safety Training within 60 days.
• Background checks and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform groundman and Class C lineman duties plus energized work.
• Climb poles and install/repair distribution equipment.
• Digs holes, sets poles, strings wire for new/repair work.
• Operates service truck and maintains tools and equipment.
• Responds to work orders for disconnections, reconnections, and outages.
