Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a part-time Driver for our Valencia community. You will operate community vehicles safely on outings, assist residents with loading, and ensure compliance with state and federal driving laws.

This role supports activities staff and helps create a secure, welcoming environment. Requirements include Class B or C license with Passenger Endorsement, 21+ years old, high school diploma or equivalent, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, and resident appointments.
• Assist with the safe loading of residents and their belongings onto and off of vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles.
• Comply with vehicle inspection and safety standards.
• Provide safe, punctual transport and support to residents during outings.
• Support activity staff during community events and outings and promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings excursions special activities and personal resident appointments
• Assist with the safe loading of residents and their belongings onto and off of community vehicles
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles
• Comply with standards and processes for proper vehicle inspection and driving
• Demonstrate safe driving in getting residents transported
• Observes speed limits yet are still punctual and safe in transporting people
• Act as a member of the activity staff when on outingsexcursions and within the community
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff residents and guests following established safety standards
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co workers and other departments

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus
• Prefer two 2 years of experience driving a vehiclevanbus transporting people
• Excellent customer service skills
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees supervisors physicians healthcare professionals residents and their families
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including physical and TB Tests

Health & Safety
