Job summary

Service Partners is seeking a Class B CDL driver to deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to customer locations. Branch hours are 7AM to 4PM, with an earlier start necessary to be ready to begin the day.

The role involves safe operation of a tractor-trailer locally, loading/unloading up to 50 lbs, and occasional warehouse duties. Strong customer service and the ability to read English are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Valid Class A or B license required.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Acceptable DMV record.
• Meet state and federal requirements to operate a 3-axle vehicle.

Responsibilities

Job Description

NOTE: This is a Class B Driver position with absolute warehouse responsibility based entirely on the needs of the business. If you are not comfortable or willing to work in the warehouse this will not be the role for you. The business hours of the branch are 7AM to 4PM with an earlier arrival necessary to be ready to start the day. The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $23 per hour.

Your Responsibilities

• Currently hiring a CDL Driver to deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to our customer locations.
• Safely operate a tractor trailer combination locally.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physically loading/unloading of trucks.
• Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.
• Willingness to assist in the warehouse as needed.
• Loading and unloading trucks, not only your own truck for delivery.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Valid Class A or Class B driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to meet State and Federal transportation and medical requirements to operate a three (3) axle vehicle.

Travel Requirements

• Seventy-five (75%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle.
• The remainder of work activities is performed outdoors and in a warehouse setting.
• May require overnight travel.

Physical Requirements

• This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
• The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.
