Job summary

Senior Resource Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a dependable driver to transport residents to activities and medical appointments. This role suits a semi-retired individual who enjoys helping seniors with everyday tasks and errands.

You will operate a bus, minibus, or van, assist passengers on and off the vehicle, secure wheelchairs or walkers, and keep the vehicle clean and fueled. A valid Passenger Endorsed Class B license, clean driving record, and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Passenger Endorsed Class B license and have a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicle to designated locations.
• Assist passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs, walkers and other equipment to restraining devices to stabilize equipment during trip.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
