Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your skills across the Litchfield, IL area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

Location: 1301 Eilerman Ave, Litchfield, IL

What will your job involve?

1. Safely collecting, delivering, and storing medical waste containers at customer locations
2. Providing strong customer service and building positive relationships
3. Operating vehicles safely (up to 26 ft box trucks)
4. Completing deliveries on schedule and communicating any changes or challenges
5. Loading and unloading, organizing your truck per schedule and needs
6. Managing routes as directed by leadership, delivering timely and efficient service
7. Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours, and roadside inspections
8. Heavy lifting!!

What are we looking for?

1. Class B license with a clean driving record and valid medical card
2. Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
3. A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
4. Experience operating large vehicles (up to 26 ft box trucks) safely
5. Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
6. Confidence in road check levels 1 through 3
7. Proven longevity in previous employment
8. Timely delivery practices
