Job summary

Nabis is seeking a Class B CDL Warehouse Driver to run pickup routes to brands and between Nabis hubs. Must have at least 2 years of reputable driving experience and communicate professionally with dispatch and warehouse teams.

Compensation includes competitive pay starting at $28 per hour, paid weekly, with full-time Medical/Dental/Vision benefits and a fast-growing startup culture. Rochester hub-based role with CDL requirements and safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with at least 2 years of occupational driving experience.
• Airbrake endorsement required.
• Must be over the age of 21.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch and twist.
• Adhere to Clearinghouse (DOT) and random drug screenings as appointed.
• Ability to welcome and learn new technologies quickly and effectively.
• Excellent judgement and work ethic.
• Problem solving and communications skills.
• Confidence behind the wheel and adaptability.
• Cannabis industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive routes to and from the Rochester hub and support ad-hoc hauls to NY locations using medium fleet vehicles.
• Outstanding problem solving and time management abilities.
• Maintain fleet vehicles by keeping them clean and secure; report maintenance to Fleet Management.
• Perform regular safety inspections per SOPs and OSHA standards.
• Follow loading protocols, secure cargo with chains and binders, re-check stability.
• Inspect trailers before/after loading; monitor air lines and jack positions.
• Visit weigh stations to ensure loads meet state safety regulations.
• Assist in unloading cargo when sites are understaffed while preserving product quality.
• Adhere to traffic safety regulations; report unsafe conditions to authorities.
• Use GPS for route info and communicate with supervisors via CB radio and cab computer.
• Notify loaders by phone if late for scheduled drop-off or pickup.

The Role

Nabis is seeking a qualified Class B CDL Warehouse Driver to run pickup routes to brands as well as routes between Nabis hubs. This person must have at least 2 years of experience as a reputable, trustworthy driver and be able to communicate in a timely and professional manner with our Nabis dispatch and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities:

• Drive routes to and from our Rochester hub to receive product from brands while supporting adhoc hauls to our other New York locations using medium fleet vehicles as needed
• Outstanding problem solving and time management abilities
• Help maintain fleet vehicles by keeping them clean and ensuring they are empty and secure when returned as well as flag any potential maintenance issues to our Fleet Management
• Perform regular safety inspections of equipment in keeping with company SOPs and OSHA standards
• Follow and maintain loading protocols, using chains and binders to secure cargo and re-checking their stability throughout trips
• Inspect trailers before and after loading, paying attention to status of air lines and jack positions and adjusting them as necessary
• Visit weigh stations before and after packing to ensure that loads meet state safety regulations, making alterations to loads when required by law
• Assist in unloading cargo when delivery sites are understaffed, maintaining product quality throughout conveyance
• Always adhere to traffic safety regulations, exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors and highway authorities
• Use GPS to stay informed of route information, and communicate with supervisors and colleagues using CB radio and cab computer
• Communicate professionally with warehouses, including notifying loaders by phone if you will be late for a scheduled drop-off or pickup

Desired Qualifications:
